How we keep the ShowerShroom catalog current

Prices

We update prices on a schedule, and the whole catalog moves at once. The catalog was last updated on October 1, 2026. Between two updates a price can move at our retail partner, and if the figure at checkout differs from ours, the one at checkout is the one you pay.

Colors and packs that come and go

Every color, pack and set on a product page is one you can buy right now. One that stops being offered disappears from the page at the next update, and it comes back by itself when it is offered again.

Fit ranges and materials

Drain widths, materials, adapters in the box and how each catcher sits come from our own product data for each catcher. Where two descriptions of one catcher give different widths, we print the narrower range.

Ratings

The stars and the count next to a product are the ratings buyers gave that product family. Several colors of one catcher share one pool of ratings, so we count each pool once when we add them up.

Photographs

Many of our product photos came with slogans, badges and measurements printed over them. On this site those are cropped down to the product, or left off, and the bundle pictures are put together from photos of the catchers inside each set.

Drain cleaners

Where a page mentions chemical drain cleaners, it relies on the public sources below, each read before it was cited. The date of that reading is printed next to every source.
